If a patient is more than 10 minutes late for an appointment then the automatic booking system will not work. If safe to do so, the clinician may refuse to see you and you will have to re-book an appointment.

If there is a good reason why you are late or if your problem is urgent then the surgery may agree to fit you into the GP’s surgery, ask you to wait to the end of the surgery or see the ‘On Call’ GP.

The automatic system will not book you in more than 30 minutes before your appointment.
